Why did Yahoo eliminate the ability to post opinions to stories?

That option set Yahoo apart and made it unique. Any poster remembers the troll problem. Posting to stories was still fun despite it.

Success of Yahoo Answers depend upon the quality of response. Many answerer's are not serious and their questions or answers are aimless. Yahoo Answering team must constantly keep a watch on answers and circulate suggestion to have opinion from other members. I strongly support for restriction on those who are not serious.

I guess you don't remember just how disgusting the trolls were getting. They ruined it for everyone.
