Tracker systems are used to for tracking the bugs in the codes (Normally). In normal scenarios, one team will develop a product, and other will do quality analysis, to find bugs. These bugs are saved in tracker system. These bugs are now shared across both the teams, so that each one can see whats happening with the bugs. Once a test person files a bug, developers solve it and update the status of the bug. Now the test person can test again, to see that it is no more.

Just a hunch - but it may involve the database they have set up to monitor where all the company vehicles are at a particular time. Many businesses now have their cars and vans fitted with tracking devices to stop workers bunking off early or speeding.

Am I right to think that if you don't know what one is, you're not familiar with any? Could it be to track company vehicles or deliveries?
