"Will I EVER" Will I ever have true lasting love? Will I ever have someone who will be here for me? Will I ever have a man who wants me to have and to hold ,someone who will never let me go, a man who will trust in my love for him?Thats all I've ever wanted, a man who loves me as much as I love him. Will I always have these lonely days and nights? Not knowing if I have something to look forward to or not.Will I ever have the answer ? Will I Ever????????

I was actually crying and asking all this stuff out loud one night ,several years ago.After I finally quit crying I thought everything I had just said out loud and thought it kinda sounded like a poem so I wrote it down. I just thought I would get other opinions about it. Oh I finally did find the man 3 years ago.

I think it seems heartfelt enough that he would appreciate the effort. The point of writing a poem for someone is usually to express emotion, and no one can tell you what you feel. The question is, have you something to say or just someone to impress? If you just want suggestions... All my strength goes from me could be... all of my strength escapes me. flushes from me abandons me. Really though, take it form the heart and you'll be fine.

it's rather like a letter to yourself or a page in a diary. it's a bit too "non-elaborated" for a poem, but you could work on it
