The annual salary i am paid is more than the exemptuon limit on tax. Is tds applicable in this case? Is it compulsory or can we do without it? How can we save more on tax?

She runs the business as a proprietor. And my annual salary would come to arond 1-1.5 lac

For salary case, there is a limit of taxation, and the TDS application depends upon the Volume of ur business. The status of ur business establishment means Properietorship/Partership/Company etc..

Yes u applicable TDS (Tds on salary),
more then 100000 rs. salary is applicable for TDS
