Not sure the name of the position, but it's the job that involves repairing old books and documents in libraries and archives. And I'm not referring to book binders...it's the technical side of it. Can you name this career?

Book and paper conservation is the practice of restoring books and documents. Preservation is the practice of preserving and archiving the information from old documents, although the two practices can be confused and often overlap. A conservator would be one who was in the practice. The University of Texas has a program in the field.
