If your ego is hurt by your elder, older or senior then you should not worry as it does not affect your self respect…
However, if it is done by a junior, younger or somebody out of the crowd then you have to find out whose mistake was there… if it was yours then correct yourself… if others had done it then teach them a lesson…

Indulge in something you like to do- anything; music, food etc. hobbies are great to keep your mind off things and eventually, you'll realize that your ego is not so important after all! xD it takes time, so give it the time and patience! till then- you have only one life, so live it to it's fullest! xD

Our egos are our very own little, personal demons, aren't they? So easily wounded and we pay so much attention to them - sometimes, we even think they're important, but...they really aren't. The ego survives, intact, all manners of offenses and time is what heals them.
Give it time...you'll mend....
