What is the roster number of hockey players that get to suit up for a team for a regular season game in the NHL (including goalies)?

Teams are allowed dress 18 skaters and 2 goalies. After the trade deadline, they can have more players on the roster then normal, but can still dress 18 and 2.

its a 28 man roster usally with a few healthy scrathes and a few on injury but this number gets extended after the trade deadline
