I have a site on delphi forums where I have posted all my poems if you want some ideas of all kinds of different poems. I wrote most of them and then other people have posted their poems too. or you could browse around all of delphi forums and find all kinds of different forums. I love haiku ... they're short, easy, and yet full of meaning. They're only three lines long. The first line is five syllables; the second is seven; the third is five.

Poem about politics just make it not look like politics.. Like your writing about a evil guy which pertains to bush or something like that.. I would love to read that!

do a poem about your life, family, friends and Yahoo gang.

make a free-verse form, and let the words flow freely. you'll also be able to use different indentions and styles to fully represent your poem.
write about something that amazes you, something that keeps you in awe. then use images to describe that scenery or situation.
