why? lets hear from some of my countrymen we are not even in the travel section on yahoo.only Cardiff and Swansea are in the subsection, where are you "country." I am in Egypt for health reasons as it never rains here in Luxor so no authritis.

This brings back menories of school. we had to look up the longest names of cities or towns in the world. Wales was always so amazing names.
I can't think of had the name of the town that had the longest name.But I remember it did begin with the letters Ll, and had a,"fair" bit in it somewhere.
I am sure you know it I dont think it is your town!.
Luxor is such a great pace for aches ,guess why there are so many Europeans retiring there.
I am coming to live there also,but because I love it!
I suggest that you contact an English lady called Jane Akshar. She is well known in Luxor and is also involved in tourism.
But Jane knows everyone who is anyone, especially if they are from U.K.or have an interest in Egyptology. Jane can be found through Jane's blog on the tour Egypt site.
She is super,very friendly and helpful and I am sure she will know if there are any Welsh people in Luxor, and can put you in touch with them!
Then you can arrange to get together.
It is true we never seen to have anyone from Wales ask a question or answer one. You are the first that I know of.
