Everything seems to come alive
It's much more easier to thrive
All that was hardened by the cold and grey
seem to suddenly melt away
When spring has sprung.

The flowers start to bloom again
As buds appear upon the trees is when
Spring has sprung.

The grey skies turn to blue bringing new life
To all things, the air is fresh and new
When spring has sprung.

I love spring it has that feeling of newness, and of opportunity, it brings a real good feeling of optimism, and fresh starts, everything comes alive again almost like being re born i love spring time.

bed time story for u lolol

The little robin woke and opened her eyes. There was something different about today; everything seemed fresh and clean and new!

Suddenly, she knew what had changed and she had to let everyone else know too! So, in a flash, she soared into the sky! Away she went!

Higher and higher she flew! The little robin had to let the world know something very important, something only she could tell.

“It’s spring! It’s spring!”she sang as she flew over the brown meadows. “It’s Spring! It’s spring!”

A sleepy field mouse opened his eyes in his den deep underground. With a twitch of his nose, he scampered up the passageway to the surface.

The sun was shining down on the quiet meadow. Under the old, brown grass were tiny green shoots. The meadow was beginning to come alive! Soon it would be lush and green and beautiful!

“It’s spring, it’s spring,” thought the little field mouse as he took a deep breath of the sweet, cool morning air of spring.

“It’s spring! It’s spring” chirped the little robin. She paused for a moment to call out to the creatures of the woods, “It’s spring, it’s spring!”

A raccoon slowly lifted his head to listen. Then, he quietly left his den and walked about on the leaf-covered ground. A butterfly fluttered past his nose!

Nearby, a fox heard the cheerful call and carefully sniffed the air.

As she emerged from her den, she spied a cricket jumping across the ground!

“It’s spring, it’s spring!” thought the fox as she playfully chased the cricket through the woods’ underbrush.
“It’s spring, it’s spring!” thought the raccoon as he happily trotted through the woods towards a little creek to have his first cool sip of water this spring.

All morning, the little robin soared through the air chirping her grand announcement to everyone. Then, spying a puddle, she flew down for a drink.

“It’s spring, it’s spring,” she cried in between sips of cool, clear water. “It’s spring, it’s spring!”

Nearby, the ground began to move! It was a mole who had heard the little robin’s call! “It’s spring, it’s spring!” thought the mole, as he tunneled thru the dark earth in search of breakfast!

Having satisfied her thirst, the little robin once again took to the sky. Flying high above the trees, she told everyone living in the meadow, the woods, and even underground that spring had arrived. But she was not finished yet!

Soon, she began to fly over some houses. The little robin landed in the branches of an old tree, and called towards an open window in one of the houses. “It’s spring! It’s spring!”, she sang.

Inside the house, a little boy lay sleeping in the bedroom nearest the tree. The chirping of the robin woke him up. He walked to his window and spied the little robin singing and singing in the branches.

The little boy laughed with delight. Dressing quickly, he darted out of his room, shouting happily to his mother as he ran down the hall.

“Mommy, Mommy!” he called excitedly, “There’s a robin singing outside my window!

It must be spring! It must be spring!”

I wrote a poem called "Southern Winters." Our winters are spring like here most of the time. Please check my 360 page and go to my blog. Tell me what you think.
