i had my tongue pierced before i got pregnant with my daughter...but when i did i took it out...i want to get it back but just dont know for sure if it's a good idea or not...i have 2 babies...my 4 year old is going to start school this comeing up year and dont know what her teachers would think of a mother with a tongue ring.(if it happened to be seen) ya know maybe a crazy question but ya know...dont know what to do..i mean i dont actually care what people think of me...i mean if they like me they do and if not then oh well not trying to impress anyone...just give me your openion's please...

Ok let's be honest, You do care what ppl think of you or else you wouldn't mention what the teachers might say.
I don't think you should get one again because alot of ppl chip there teeth on them and i just think at some point ppl grow out of stuff like that.

It really doesn't matter what other people think but because it's such a dilemma for you I think it's a bad idea. I think your conscience is telling you what you already know. I used to have my tongue pierced and I just stopped feeling it after while. I'm also a mother as well and it's important to me to maintain a certain image to my son as a female role model. Not that piercings are so horrible but if you have to sit and contemplate your decision it's seems as if it's not a part of you anymore and you need to continue on.

I'm not a fan of tongue piercings for main medical reasons (it never heals and you risk infection in the tongue which can lead to serious side effects including losing part of your tongue.) Also, the reason for tongue piercing is sex related and most people will think of that when they see one. So it depends on what health risks you are willing to take and what you think other parents will think of you (and older kids that figure it out.)

ok nicely i've got had mine pierced two times and before everything it took mine somewhat longer to heal and it hurts worse the 2nd time yet as for the trick ingredient it extremely is fairly risky on account which you would be inflicting greater trauma to the hollow on your tongue which will reason an infection far greater handy

Well, why don't you buy one of those invisible tounge rings? They sell them at Hot Topic, and it's really cheap. You don't see them and it keeps your peircing open.
