for one of my friend's baby shower, I gave them a baby sheet and that's all. I waited til the last minute and only had seven dollars so that's all I could buy. Oh, well. She'll get over it; right? It's not like we're good friends or anything. she just a classmate. do you think that was a sucky gift? Everybody else got her something better. I didn't even want to go. but she told me i had to be there.

That's a fine gift for someone your not really close to. At least you went. That's probably a couple of hours of your life you'll never get back! LOL Don't worry about it you did good.

Any gift should be accepted gracefully, and with a thank you note.
I think your friend is a sucky friend. I would not consider her a friend. She sounds like a selfish, conceited individual, and does nnot think of other peoples feelings. How dare she make you feel like you are a bad friend. I think just the fact that you spent the last seven dollars show me that you are a kind, person.

You did your best, that is all anyone can do.

Nooo why eont u supply them those presents on eid? So his love for eid will advance, instead of affection for christmas :) Salaam alaikum @lefty it fairly isn't any longer stressful. Did u advance up geting presents in the time of christmas? I also have a 7 year old little sis, she additionally doesnt get something for christmas. and that i did clarify to her that we dont have fun christmas. have confidence me they are smarter and greater open then u think of. Giving them a present day on christmas, and claiming its no longer cas of christmas is basically an attempt to trick urself. weren't even allowed to quickly on the comparable days because of the fact the jews, so why could be allowed to furnish presents, (yet no for christmas) on christmas ?

I dont think its sucky at all you showed up and gave a present and its the thought to go with it. she must class you as a friend if she insisted that you go!!!! I wouldn't worry about it to much. You went you gave and thats that

yes it is a sucky present!! you were inconsiderate enough to leave it till the last minute so you only had 7 dollars, if ye are'nt good friends why did she insist on you being there, do you think your perhaps just trying to make yourself feel better about the **** present?? I think so. It's not like you were broke, you just didnt give a **** to plan a present for your friend!!

They say it's the thought that counts but obviously no thought went into it

It's not about have lavish the gift is. Its about how much thought you put into it. I mean you went to the party even though you didn't want to. As long as you were pleasant there, you have nothing to worry about. People do worry too much these days about trying to please other people with money. But there is so much more to life then that!

You gave a gift, you are a wonderful friend and if she is just as good a friend as you are, she will cherish the sheet you bought.
