Before you would ask for your appropriate nickname, let me just tell you what is its meaning. William means a "resolute guardian" just like an angel, a firm and hard person. I have friends and brethren who has the same name as you but I'm used in calling them by their whole name, not WILL, LIAM, WILLY or the like. But if you still insist i would call you as THE GUARDIAN (film of Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher)
