Were you raped but never told a soul and to this day you told no one? If so, do you know who raped you but you won't say who. If so, do you think it's selfish not to tell who so you could try and prevent that person from raping other women. Do you care what happens to other women?

I was raped more than once. The first time I told and ended up being treated like I caused it , like I asked for it I was a 13 year old virgin I was raped by 5 guys from the local high school football team. Telling was a big mistake. The other time I was raped many years later I did not tell and it has haunted me. I am so glad things have changed somewhat ! There was no DNA when I was raped and there were no hospital visits . I had to go to school everyday with the boys who raped me and the father of one of them was the Principal of my school. My family treated me like I was dirty. I had to move away from that town to be treated with respect. I worry about what the second man who raped me is up to . I did not know him or his name so I thought the likely hood of any action being taken was nil and the problems it would cause me were great.

It so happens dat i know gurls who have been raped before. I can only be their shoulder to cry on and not make much of a difference to their lives, if they wont let me too.
What I intend to do to make them voice theirselves is to constantly remind them that:
1. U hav to let ppl know what he did to u
2. U arent the oni one dis has happenned to...
3. I am here for you, even if no one else is
4. I shall fight along side with you
5. Lets change this place n create a beter world for people like us (I use the term 'us' here is to create security for the girl/lady)
Its hard to make a stand in a muslim country. But, if someone doesnt make a move to voice out for ladies, who would and when???

when i was 14 and never told anyone 19 now what people dont understand who haven't been through it is the humiliation and fear of judgement. i thought if i pretended it didnt happen it would go away and yes i knew him he was a so called friend
