I think it would prefer to be outside, preferably with other penguins. Give them a shady spot near your swimming pool and they will be much happier.

That would depend on the species of penguin. Most do not live anywhere near the icy wastes of Antarctica but are used to much warmer climates.

Yes. if you call that living. also be sure to open the door every 30 minutes so it can have some new air. it would also be safer to put all the fish up on a higher shelf so it can't reach it.

well penguins can live any where, all they need is cool water. there are penguins that live on the Galpagos islands because there is cool water that flows there...
