Which one you expect more , Irish Sweepstakes of $ 20 million or Derby win ( $35 million) ? Is there any meaning in these speculations or vain thinking?

Suppose someone comes to your door with a positive offer : Which one you desire Short life if you are prepared to give away both your kidneys for a price or Lone life , in a big home in an African jungle? Then you can decide . Even then the Long Life thing is a wish..

The Iraqis ..... do you think any of them can ever wish for a long life? Just think about it. No one would want them. They have nowhere to go excepet to be in. And , the majority of them, no one did anything wrong! What do you say?

Accidents do happen. However, the rule of thumb is really in your genes..

I am 66 yrs old, and I know that all my relatives, uncles aunts mother father all lived well into their 90's. I still have 3 uncles that are alive and the oldest one of them is 96. He still goes to his business every day, and walks up long flight of stairs to get to the main offices. His children really run the business, but he is physically, except for his eye sight which has deteriorated a bit, and mentally 100 % .

So due to the above, I do expect to live a long and productive life.

Hope you do too.

I am on the very back side of 50 and have an illness that is going to bite me in the butt. So, to me, I'll just take life one day at a time. Each morning when I wake my life just became longer than the day before.

Shortish, but this is partly due to a chemical imbalance which makes it difficult for me to envisage anything beyond about next Tuesday, and even that's a bit of a stretch.

I agree with above that it's probably in the genes, but if so I'm getting mixed messages. On my father's side they tend to live fairly long lives, but start to fall apart quite young and are rather miserable for a number of years as a result. On my mother's they go younger, but then there is a bit of a history of suicide, which tends to pull down your averages.

Whatever happens I shall of course take it on the chin, but my one little hope is that my husband and I get to do it together for as much of it as possible.

It depends on what you think to be a short life (two years) or, a long life (one hundred fifteen years). I guess I would live a medium life.

Long life because I do not drink tap water. I believe that the Government adds chemicals to the water and those chemicals shorten life spans.
