A little doll's kitchen made from tin. It came with tiny pots, plates, cups and spoons. I was about 6-7 when I received it and I can't remember ever getting another toy.
I was growing up in Jamaica at the time and toys were not something parents would waste their money on.

My old teddy with one ear, no eyes, and a burnt foot (which I burnt by mistake by getting too near to old boiler we used to heat our house with about 45 years ago).
I found this teddy in the house when we moved in and he was old then. I still have him, so I imagine he must now be well over 60!!!!

My bicycle was my fav thing it was freedom but I liked this toy, it was a wind up thing of evel kneivel it was cool, you could jump mini ramps with evel. He had a removable helmet and his trademark jumpsuit, I tell you, they don't make toys like they used to. (this was in the 70's.

Yes, and my big brown bear was named Bonzo. He met an untimely death however, when he decided to take a bubble bath with me. My mother pinned him to a clothesline and I waited for Bonzo to dry out. He Never Did Though! What a Bozo, Bonzo!!
