a. Add NaCl solution, which will give a white ppte with Pb(NO3)2 and no change with KNO3. (There are other possibilities).

b. Add BaCl2 solution. HCl will give no change (because BaCl2 is soluble), while H2SO4 will give a white ppte of BaSO4. Again there are other possibilities.
