why do people thnk jordan is the greatest player to ever play the game??? and the wont even consider... KIDD, GARNETT, GRANT HILL (BEFORE INJURY)... all these guys are triple double players.... grant hilll was on his way to the top before he got injured... kidd, is almost there... and KG... the guy is a power forward.... who plays for a team he doesnt even care about... but still gives em alll he's got... 20 pts 11 reb 5 ast in his career... come on....

All of the players you have just mentioned have no rings to show off. Jordan is one of the top 10 players of all time. Jordan has 6 rings and pro sports is all about how many rings do you have. Jordan was also a great leader on and off the floor, without Jordan do you think the bulls even win one championship at all. Now Kidd,hill and garnett are great players but they do not compare to the level of of a Michael Jordan.

they are all good players but you know what they havent done that Jordan did do give the bulls a winning season and take his team the the finals 6 times and only one player on that list you typed thats came close to it is Jason Kidd sending the nets to the finals 2 times and losted

jordan has done things (or was the first) such as his mid court dunk shot - where he flys through the air. His natural physical abilities exceed others - do not confuse this with most points scored - because others have scored more. But no one can hit the clutch shots like Jordan.

But they haven't won as much as Jordan has. And people love points and dunks, and Jordan has many more of both than any of those guys.

they are all great players, but , sometimes, greatness is equated with championships, and those guys you mentioned have nada ( yet )... MJ was very instrumental in securing his legacy by being an integral part of each championship ring...
