If they start in a capital letter they are proper nouns: London, Ford Motor Company, Mary Poppins.In its simplest form colours and sizes are used. Such a a BIG house, SMALL car, RED coat, BROWN carpet.

It's really disappointing that you had to ask this question here and that so many have willingly answered it for you. Did you, or have you, not learned how to use a dictionary?
This is the perfect example of the kinds of questions that get answers like: "do your own homework, look it up in a dictionary, etc."
It's not really that hard to use one, especially since there are numerous sites that have dictionaries on them, or (horror of all horrors...) look it up in a "real dictionary"...you know the "book kind"....
