With his total screw up of this Iraq war and the lost of over 3000 fellow solders, would anyone help raise funds to send him ( so he could serve his country like he should have in Nam) or have his daughters die for this country by serving in a front line? I am willing to also support the call to arms from any person in Congress that is willing to send themselves, spouse, or children into harms way they way they voted to send our troops after 9/11. SO lets fund this nice one year vacation to a sunny fun location where you get three hots and a cot along with all the lead you can eat for free.....

Yes. I think that a law should be passed so that any member of congress and the senate who supports a war has also have to go fight. And they should also send their spoiled rich kids to war.

You know, this question has been posted on here so many times with a few variations.
The military is VOLUNTARY.....that GOD for that.
To the ones who are always ranting about sending those who voted for Bush over to Iraq, well here's a newsflash for you. MANY of those same people who voted for Bush ARE over in Iraq.
You know, we all just might feel safer though sending some girls over to fight in a war if some of the whiney nonsense we see on here is an indication of the quality of MEN we have to chose from.
I am just grateful that I know that those kind of MEN are in the minority.

Sheldon is correct. Besides the dumbest part of your point is that Bush didn't make a single person go to Iraq. They all signed themselves up and not all during times of peace. In fact 2006 saw more Army recruits than any other period since 1997. They have been signing up at the rate of 80 thousand per year since the war began. Your logic is failed, sir.

One can support a cause without being directly involved. I realize you're angry about the Iraq war, but your logic is flawed. Just because someone supports (or supported) the Iraq war does not mean they must be actively involved in it. This is absurd. Do you support the local police? Then join the force. Do you also support the local fire department? Better suit up then. A fan of protecting endangered animals? Prepare to adopt one. The list could go on and on and on. There are more ways to support a cause than direct physical involvement.

I would support this, but only if the twins were sent with a large inflatable pool filled with jello, and a couple gallons of appletinis. Then they could entertain the troops by wrestling in it.

I know this isn't the way our government works. But, wouldn't it make sense that only those people who vote for a President who then sends us to war should be the people who have to go fight in it? Sure would be a lot less wars, I'd think. People would sure be more serious about who they voted for than selling this nation out for a $326 tax refund like everyone got after Bush promised that "trip - to - the - mall - if - you - vote - for - me" bribe.

You setting up another USO tour? Otherwise they girls do not have the proper training and would be targets and cause more headaches for our brave military. How can you say you support the troops and then propose to complicate their job??

slurs aren't allowed here! If the Bush daughters want to go to Iraq, they are free to volunteer but the question remains for you.......does their going include taking Chelsea Clinton with them?

I will not.
It can be considered only in case they want to visit to cheer their soldiers and make an attempt to bring them back.
Not on assignment, never.

One of the great things about America is that we can make our own decisions. That's neither here nor there.
