NO!!! I'm 42 and I still don't look at life that way! Life is a huge fun adventure and I imagine that when I turn 80 I still won't be looking over my shoulder wondering where it went wrong. Don't be so pessimistic!

I'm ahead of you there! I still have 3 more years before I hit the big 30, and I am trying to figure out already where I went wrong and where I'm going to go from here!

I have difficulty remembering back that far.
But I do recall my girlfriend at the time was Very Good at telling where I had gone wrong. Six or seven times an hour.
That relationship didn't last, funnily enough...

no that didn't happen until I turned 40 .....and then again at 50.....but thankfully I retired at 54 and am no longer haunted by such bouts of reality...happily turned 58 last Aug free of those nagging recriminations about being the abject failure I realized I'd become
