y-9=7/8 (x-4)
8(y-9)= 7(x-4)
8y-72= 7x-28
8y=7x-28+72
8y=7x+44
y=7/8x + 44/8
y= 7/8x +5.5

y - 9 = (7/8 ).(x - 4)
8y - 72 = 7(x - 4)
8y - 72 = 7x - 28
7x - 8y + 44 = 0 is equation of straight line.

This can be shown as:-
8y = 7x + 44
y = (7/8).x + 44/8
y = (7/8).x + 11/2
