I'm going to be there for four nights. I am 21. I have about $700 to spend. Is that enought to enjoy an night life, gamble, and eat nicely? Should I bring more money?

That's plenty of money..assuming you're not a huge gambler. i went there for 3 nights with my girlfriend..and I think we spent less than that..well about that if you include the "O" tickets we bought..but we bought premium 3 rd row seats for $200 a piece. We gambled about $350..but evened out..and probably spent an average of $100 a day on food. Easily could've spent more or less depending on how ritzy or cheap we wanted to be. you can have fun in vegas for $20 a day..and you can spend easily thousands in a day..it really depends what you want to do.
Anyway some good clubs to check out..if your single and in your 20s..or wish you were...Pure, Tryst, and Body English is your best bet....a little older..maybe try Tao or Tangerine. I hear light is still good, but a little older of a crowd, being in Bellagio.
Vegas really fits most people's budget..there are plenty of mcdonalds, and again plenty of restaurants that easily cost $100+ per person..same thing with shows..there are $15 shows for ppl..and like I saw...$200 shows...or if you went to a UFC even $700-1000 shows...I think you can easily work with $700 just for yourself for four nights..just plan it out right..maybe go cheap the first night or two..and then go big the last two nights with whatever you have left over. If you only got $700 though I highly recommend against gambling more than $200-300 bucks..unless you make money...because you probably want at least $100 a day to yourself for food/entertainment/emergencies..and always save at least $20 to get yourself to the airport on the last day..

I guess it all depends on your idea of "enjoy"

you can very easily do 4 days for 700 in vegas and still have fun. you can go to clubs, you can eat well, you can drink moderately, and you can gamble moderately..

obviously, gambling doesnt have an "average" some people put $20 in the penny machine and sit there for a half hour.. others put $50 on a black jack hand..and its gone in half a second... what kind of gambling to do plan to do, and how much time do you plan to spend doing it?

Clubs and alcohol can go from really cheap to really expensive very fast. If you are looking to go all out at the the clubs then you would definately need more.. you could spend twice that amount in one night without noticing, but thats if you want over the top. If you just want to go out and enjoy the nightlife, i would say plan about $100 night, for admissions, drinks. You can knock that number down alot by getting free passes to the clubs you go to.. im not sure how easy it is for guys to get them in the hotels...i think they market more to girls, but there are alot of websites that offer them too... alcohol is rediculously overpriced at clubs in las vegas compare to other places... but remember, if you are gambling in the casino, its free!

Food is food. there are buffets from $7, there is ellis island, which has greasy goodness for pennies. You'll probably want to go cheap on breakfast and lunch, and save up for dinner so you can go nicer places. At most "casual-but-nice" places, expect to play around $25+alcohol.

If you can budget a little more to take to vegas, i would say do $1000, just incase you want to catch a show or something.. but if $700 is what you have to work with, don't stay home becuase you think you dont have enough. you can EASILY have fun on $700.

My fav. clubs:

Jet @ Mirage - free shots, decent dj, usually VERY crowded.

Tangerine @ TI - not so crowded, decent view for the Sirens show (beats standing on the sidewalk for an hour imo)

Carinval Court@ Harrahs - outdoor, bar/club feel. more laid back, decent entertainment, drinks arn't TOO pricy.

I would bring more money. Covers at good clubs usually runs $30-$40 plus the liquor is outragous. Although if you are good at budgeting you might be okay with only $700. If I were you and I could afford it I'd try for $1,000 that way you could be more free with your spending.
Anyway, here is a list of clubs not to miss in Vegas:

Light
Pure
Drais
Studio 54
Tangerine
Ghost Bar
Rain
Ice
Vodoo Lounge
Love Lounge@ The Mirage
Cherry

Um you need more. I would bring double to make it worth your while.....you could eat at ONE nice place, gamble moderately and go out ONE night for $700. If you want to eat good 3 times a day, do a nightclub everynight and still gamble for 3 days, bring double. You could get by on what youre bringing, but you will have to plan out your money and do lots of "free" stuff to take up your time.

Go on Ebay and look up Vegas VIP club passes. I buy them everytime I go out there. You can get $300 worth of club admissions for $10. Get extras to pass out to chicks in line...have a blast. I'll be out there March 10th - 13th!
