Because it has rotating momentum and relatively little is acting to slow it down. It does, in fact, slow down its rotation about 1 second a year, mostly from effects of the moon.
The theory is that the entire solar system was formed from a cloud of material that was rotating and the angular momentum was shared between the sun and the planets in the form of rotation and orbital movement.
According to a second wiki article, the earth would slow to alignment with the moon, but the sun will expand and boil away life in 2,500,000,000 years before we slow that far.

It keeps revolving because there is nothing which would stop it. Since there's no friction in a vacuum, it does not slow down. Even if it would slow down, this effect would be so weak that the solar system (and so the earth) would not exist any more - at least in the way it is now.

With tongue firmly in cheek,... ;)

The earth is rotating as a part of a perpetual motion machine, (which of course cannot exist given our current understanding of science), so eventually it will stop, and we will all fall off as a result of the momentum that we have built up over the years. The only way to stop it is to get everyone together at the equator, to run as fast as they can in shifts for the rest of human history;)

Earth is revolving due to the gravitational force. it's stated in the law of gravitation, where the formula F= Gm1m2 over the square of d... where f =gravitational force, g =gravity or 9.8m/s per second, m1= mass of the first body, m2=mass of the second body and d is the distance between the twoo bodies.

newton's laws, read up on them. if you get confused its because on earth there is too much friction for newtons laws to function properly. and the earth will never stop revolving, until the sun explodes, then we will be blasted to bits :P

It keeps revolving but like moon and other planets are brakeing the earth. one day (that day can be 24000 hours ) it will stop.

do you want it to stop?.it revolves because of the gravitational pull of the sun to the earth and vice versa

Because it is revolving: An object in motion will tend to stay in motion.

It will stop someday. The destruction of the earth is inevitable, which is why militant environmentalism is so absurd.

actually, its because of the rotation of the earths cores as they constantly rearrange themselves. this is the force that started the revolution of the earth, and will keep it going as there are no other massive forces to stop it.

that being siad, it will eventually stop, as it is slowing down little by little each year (hence Leap Year) due to the gravitational effects of the moon on said core rotation. also, the earth slows a bit before each ice age.

Probably not.. because to the best of my knowledge it's revolving because of magnetism.
