the best thing to do is life drawing. take a couple of objects from around the house, set it up, get some good lighting and draw what you see.

Wow, you are my hero. You could go so many years without makeup. I suggest very light/neutral makeup since you are an 'earth tone' type of girl. First of all, you must know that makeup is not to be worn to hide a face, it is to enhance your good looks. Clothing choice is to show off your body, and make your face look more appealing, the color of your clothes are very important also. We will start with makeup; 1. Alright, well i know you probably never used an eyelash curler before, but it really makes your eye pop. You can buy a cheap one at a drug store or an expensive one at the mall, sometimes they come with instructions, if they don't... then i'm pretty sure it's on Youtube. 2. MASCARA- those gorgeous eyes! It will take you a few tries to get it right, but don't give up! 3. EYELINER- is completely optional. If you already have thick nice eyelashes then eyeliner isn't needed in this process. It is very simple. There are different types of eyeliners.. pencils, pens, liquids, creams. You start from the middle of your eyes very close to your eyelashes and stop to the corner of your eyes (opposite end of your tear-ducts) and then go back to the tear duct and retrace the line. Pencil is the easiest to use. 4. FOUNDATION/CONCEALER- I suggest you go to a more expensive store that sells these products like Mac, or Lancome. They will tell you all you need to know about this. (Drugstore brands may harm your skin) 5. EYESHADOW- I would go with light brown or purple. You put the lighter color all over you eyelid and then you would go and use your darker color for your crease. A color in between the darker and lighter one would go right below your eyebrow. 6. Q-TIPS- Are for those mess-ups under your eyes or over your eyes. They are not just for cleaning your ears. 7.BLUSH/BRONZER- The apple of your cheeks really show when you smile. You should get a light peach color or a light pink. As for bronzer, you should put it in between your cheek bone and under you eyes, also good for the forehead. 8. LIPSTICK- is very important. If you are a light skinned girl, then a light colored lipstick is the one that would suit you best. Lipgloss may look sassy and young, but i'm pretty sure you could pull it off. Since you are 25, you shouldn't wear anything that looks to kiddish. Brown and black would go great as for dark blue/ navy blue. Denim Jeans and a nice white shirt/ black jacket would look great. Play around, don't be too complex. Simplicity is the key! Hope this helped!

I love to draw and am always looking for ways to improve my shading skills. There are alot of books you can buy or borrow from libraries that help people of all ages draw and shade. I also use photos to practice and try using different pencils to get the right texture i am looking for. The more you practice the better you get. Hope i have helped.

There are hundreds, possibly thousands of free art lessons available on the Internet. I've found a lot of these while surfing for free art programs. Try typing 'free art programs' into your search engine and see what you get.
Sorry unable to supply specific info on pencil drawing but it's out there somewhere and it's free. Plenty of art schools on-line willing and able to teach for free.

collect about 3 to 5 objects ( a sphere, a cube, a cone, a cylinder, a pyramid ) and arrange it on a Small table top. shine a light from one side of the objects. whenever you see a shade of darkness, you would shade and you leave the light spot white. have fun shading.
