Why is it that Al Gore is promoting to save energy?

The average American home uses about 15,000kwh of energy every year. Al Gore alone had over 220,000kwh in just one year. That's 20x the amount of the average home a year. Why is it that he promotes it and gets an award for it, but does not follow it?

Should we look up to a Hypocrite to run this country?

Hypothetically: Lets say he kill someone, okay, then he would go out and protest that murder is bad and no one should do it. Should people look up to him, just because he said murder was wrong? That's ridiculous!

My actions in the matter of saving energy have shone more support than Al Gore. So should I run for President?

Al gore most likely will never run this country first of all...and second, whats wrong with the promotion of energy saving? Facts prove that America is the leading cause of global warming. We are putting out more pollution and wasting resources at such a greater rate than China or Europe; the runner ups. Energy does need to be saved. The world does not have much life left, but it can be turned around. I am not trying to sound like a crazy liberal; in fact i am a republican. A more liberal minded republican, yes, but it is something that every American should be concerned about.

Every person that promotes global warming should be the first to ride a bicycle, throw away their curling iron, blow dryer, shut off their TV, radio, get rid of their spas, swimming pools, and electric garage door openers.

Stop airline flights, better yet forget going on cruises and stay home in the dark for vacations.

Shut down traffic lights and street lights.

Shut down sewage treatment plants and bring back the old out house.

Don't you promoters dare use your washers or dryers. There is a big company that still makes wash boards and wash tubs. Save on water by bathing in the wash tub every Saturday night.

The thing ppl are not seeing is, How many ppl has has Al Gore got to recycle, buy gas saver cars, install solar panels, and is now working with the west coast states and AZ to substantially lower the pollution in these problem states because of Bush's meddling. So what has this done to offset his power use at home just like the carbon buying program he does.
Besides that, he toured ALL-OVER the world last year! How much could he have REALLY been at home?
