Yes, there are quite a few cosmetology schools and ones that offer skin care/esthetician. I'm not sure if there are schools that offer solely training in make-up/cosmetic application. The skin care or esthetician programs typically include make-up techniques though also glycolic facial peels, dermabrasion, waxing/hair removal, and massage/bodywork among other topics such as anatomy, sanitation, customer service skills, sales, and more. The private beauty/cosmetology schools are usually pretty expensive, but the county vocational-technical schools are almost always a lot more affordable. Your local county phonebook should have schools listed (mostly) in the yellow pages under either 'beauty,' 'cosmetology,' or 'schools'.
