And how do scientists make it?-I read that there is an odor made called Bathroom that can make people vomit uncontrollably-even though it is not doing them any harm.

This is absolutley disgusting, but there is a condition called "fecal emesis." It happens when a person's intestines are blocked for so long that their feces are forced into their stomach, and then they vomit. This is the absolute worst smell I have ever smelled. It is way worse than even three day old corpses.

Worst smell I ever experienced... I found a dead feral baby hog in one of my pastures. Scooped it up and put it in a bucket, put a lid on the bucket, set it by the driveway meaning to toss it in the dumpster. Forgot about it for about a month. It sat there, baking in the hot August sun the entire time, until it was basically hog soup with some bones floating in it. I wouldn't have smelt it at all, except I forgot it was there and backed over it with my truck. Heard the POP of the bucket as it busted, got out to see, and OMG!!!!! I nearly barfed everywhere.

I work as a flavourist, making flavours for food and drink. The worst thing I have ever smelt is castoreum which is an extract of the anal glands of the african cat. It stinks of the most awful excretement smell you can ever imagine.Don't believe me check out wikipedia.

When I read your question I thought of bathroom smells too but another one is garbage bin smells - the outdoor ones after a week of storing trash. Phew! or the rubbish tip! Yuk.

Get yourself a Brazil nut and put it in a jar with some water and put a lid on it. If you dare, in about a month or so, take the lid off and take a sniff. If you are still conscious at this point put the lid back on.

It's called cadaverine. I'll let you do the web search. It's used to train sniffer dogs that look for missing people, and bodies in collapsed buildings. Amongst other things.

I had a jar of tobacco spit that I kept sealed and in the dark for a month. I let my freind smell it and he puked. Pretty much the worst thing I've ever smelled.
