I named my old car "Baby", and sometimes I called "her" Gracie" or *"Googie" for short.. Actor,.*George Burns called his wife Gracie Allen, Googie ( his special nick name for her!)

I work at a small used car lot, so of course I name the cars when the mood strikes me. The one that sticks out the most was a white 91 Mercury Grand Marquis I called 'Old School'.

Hey! Great to know that I am not the only weirdo thats naming my cars. I personally feel that it is about adding that personal feel to my trusty equipment that I rely on.

It was difficult at first, trying to fit a name. Slowly, the vehicle earns its name. If u could, choose a unisex name. To me, its a "he". To my husband, its a "she".....

My 87 Isuzu Imark was called Sparky. She just met her end and it's breaking my heart. My new car (new to me, that is) is a 98 Toyota Rav4. I call her Ruby Tuesday 'cuz she's a pretty merlot color and I got her on a Tuesday evening.

My wife ownes a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee in Silver and we call it "Silver Bullet". I own a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 in tan and is almost a golden color we call it "Golden Eagle".

I call my blazer Poof, because my blazer will be next to you, then POOF goes your windows ;) :P haha, would be awesome though.
I really am not sure what to name a vehicle, cause there is no debating on whether "it" is a male or female, unless you are too sexist and can decide haha.

Our vehicles names are...
"John Rambo" ... don't ask when it come to my sister.
"Tinkerbell" ... dad's work car. He got so mad that we call it that but every time he opens the door it makes this pixy fairy ting ting noise!
"The Beast" ... blue jeep, big, bad, makes everyone feel envious.
"Vanny Wanny" ...my mom's dearly departed van. She loved her dearly.
"Red Leader" ... another big bad jeep.
"Rojo" ... a red recreational vehicle.
I have not named my car yet. It is new and it is blue inside and out. We shall see what I come up with.

wow ! this has never crossed my mind. But I know that most Guys would give a car a feminine name, so i guess it depends on several things.
