I take determinism as this: are we predetermined for our decisions in the future and the answer is yes. The neurohumoral status of a person defines what choices he/she will make.

So far I have had no trouble understanding the concept. Since it describes a natural phenomenon it is easy to perceive as a method to avoid the discomfort that comes to those who see it in a different light
