If you go to planned parenthood or the health department then you do not need to use insurance. They can give you a pap-smear and get you on birth control pills and you pay in cash. It won't cost very much.
If you are old enough to have sex, and you are the age of consent (19). Then why are you so afriad or ashamed of your parents finding out that you are a Real Woman and you are all Grown Up, and you are having a sexual relationship?? It's ok. And if they don't like it, Oh Well. There is really not too much they can do to stop you, being that you are over 18. You are allowed to do whatever you want to do with your own body, hunny girl!!
Get on down to planned parenthood and Good Luck.

If it's because you don't want them to know you're sexually active (or planning) I would make up a story about you having problems with your periods and wanting to go on them so you can be regular, have less pms or whatever! You can even say that the doctor is the one who suggested it.
They will know but it will be believable and less embarrassing.
Also since you're an adult if you can sneak off to the doctors or whoever they will have to keep your visit confidential. Regarding paying for it, you'll need to ask when you go about the insurance and keeping your thing confidential but like the others said there is the option of getting it without using the insurance.

Go to your doctor and ask.
Tell him you would rather your parents not know, then should they find out tell them- "my periods are all over the place and the doctor said it would help," then ask them "how did you learn that I had birth control pills?" When they tell you then call that source and ask them how they found out, track it back to the source, get a lawyer and sue the hell out of them (releasing that information is against the law in the US- this assumes that you are from US).
Your health is your issue, no one elses.
Serious recommendation- use condoms too, no matter how many times your BF says- "you are the only one baby," you never know.

Maybe your parents would want to know that their daughter is becoming more mature and responsible for her actions, especially sexual actions. It would probably reduce their stress knowing that your not going to give them a grandchild right now as you are still young. Tell them, I don't think they will be too disappointed really!

at some point you have to become an adult. when you can have an adult conversation with your parents, you should be able to act like an adult. right now, you are just a kid pretending. is there a reason you need lie and act deceitfully with your parents.
covering you with their insurance is a gift. respect it.
