Mine came with office, photoshop, itunes, quicktime
I had the option to get a warranty. I found mine on ebay form seller of refurbished computers. apple.com will list the local sellers in your area. Mine work fine for my needs.

I have talked to Apple on the phone and they do offer the extended warrantee for three years on the refurbished. I am a PC person without but I know a deal when I see one. (I just hope the Apple crowd doesn't make me join thier cult of Apple elitists when I do buy one)

they have the full 1 yr default warranty and you can still purchase the apple care for it. its pretty much the same as a new machine (they check it out, clean it, wipe it -etc) just cheaper cause they cant sell it as new. they have refreshed & refurbished.
