i have read that there are extrasolar planets around B Geminorum and also around Pollux.

i have searched for more info but all i can find is what is listed in wikipedia not much there.

can anyone give me some info or links as to what type of planets they are? Gas giants / rocky.

i know there are alot of extrasolar planets around other stars but i am a gemini so i am more interested in that.

Thanks

Even I am a Gemini. Birthdate 5th june. Anyways...

There are planets around B Geminorum and Pollux and according to Hubble's theory, they are gaseous because they are at a distance from the stars. 3 stars were also found there larger than Jupiter in size. The gases are in solid in state most probably white in colour as Hydrogen is solididfied in cold temperatures around -260 to -300 degrees celcius.

I am saying it with so much confidence because even sun at 15 million degrees celcius, the gas giants containing same gases as sun when in distance around 1000 to 2000 million kilometres are colder than -150 degrees, the planets 5000 kilometres from the star hotter than sun could be even colder. Pluto is now also an extrasolar planet.

I think, but don't quote me, that extrasolar planets are any planets that do not orbit our sun.
