I saved all my music to an ipod before formatting my PC and after I put them back I can't play them any more. it automatically opens the internet when I try to play them.
I tried to put other Music player instead of Media Player then K-lite codecs but still there is no diference.
A friend told me that it's impossible to play them anymore because when I copied those music my media player was in "Right Protection" option.

when ripping music to the playert never right protect them or else once they have been moved to another device they wont play, because you formatted your pc they think its a different pc

Theres a program designed for people who have done just that - it removes computer information from Media Player so you can play any protected file (I think). Be very careful - this program can be used illegally as well... http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=114916
