Heres my problem:

I just started shaving my legs recently, (I never used to shave them because I didnt have that much hair), I've been shaving them for 3 weeks now every other day.

I was taking a shower today when I noticed BROWN SPOTS on my legs! Its not bumpy and its not itchy either. Its just spots. It doesnt look good at all!!! I dont know how to get rid of them!!! I remember this girl in high school having it all over her legs and she would complain about them in PE class, now I know what shes talking about!

It looks like small brown spots on your legs but it doesnt itch, you CANT feel it when you touch your legs but you can see it...

one of my friends told me that it may be caused by a dull razor but she doesnt know how to get rid of it either...

PLEASE HELP!!!

I had the same problem. I went out and got this thing by Conair, that is elctronic, and sands the hairs of your legs, but you don't feel anything. I put it to my hand, and I was fine.

uh well, been shaving my legs for quite a while now and i remember at first my legs did have those brown spots, like the shocked pores or something. i was a bit discouraged to shave from then on but i had no choice coz the hair of course grew.

anyway, try this and see if it works: shave in the shower. do everything else like like shampoo and condition etc, make shaving the last thing to do so the skin is already soft and shaving is easier. i simply use soap to lather before i shave, but ive heard you can use conditioner so it would be a bit moisturized. after towel drying, use lotion immediately. use a rich, moisturizing one so the skin is more hydrated.

after a while the skin on my legs appear calmer and the spots are no longer noticeable. i guess they just need getting used to.

goodluck =) oh and you can use those cream products although they cost a bit like Veet or hair minimizing lotions like Jergens and Avon has a lotion for that too.

in any hair removing appliance like shaving, waxing these pull out hair machines. they all leave an impact on the hair follicle. as the hair has been rooted inside when shaved etc. everyone will end up with these sort of scars .Something which i find helpful is that first give your legs a good exfoliating scrub then dry thoroughly upwards movement against the hair. then apply an icepack even wrapped in a towel and cool the area before. IMPORTANT go to the pharm.or beauty shops and ask for an after depilatory lotions or creams to be applied after. give a little time before you go out in the sun. see thtat when shaving use a good shaving foam too. there is also after creams to retard hair growth and it will lessen too. but shaving is a little inconvenient even cutting yourself too. good luck hope it helps.

u should wax ur legs because the same problem was with my sister . u should stop shaving . i think u have noticed upto now that by shaving hairs do not stop to grow . u should stop shaving for at least one week and see the result . u can use any cream which can erase these spots it will definitely work.

it is the top of your hair that is too low in the skin to cut. Make sure you exfoliate before you shave and use a razor with 3 or 4 heads on it and you will get a closer shave.
