I think the U.S. already did, but just didn't tell anybody.
If the U.S. invaded Canada with its military, I think the war wouldn't last too long, but the rest of the world would be mad at the U.S.. That's why the U.S. doesn't invade Canada.

Hockey would be on ESPN suddenly, the price of maple syrup would go down, Canadian Beer would be considered Domestic, and the FDA would force the game vendors to identify the animal the smoked meat in the sandwiches comes from.
