it is an old phone, i have a sidekick 3 i just want to fix it and not throw it away

as long it wasn't submerged in the water for a long time you might be able to save it
my cousin dropped it water once too
it wouldn't work
but she wiped off all the excess water and then
she separated the battery from the phone
and let it dry for a couple of days
it works now
soo good luck trying that
if it doesn't work
you will prob can't save it

If you take the battery off and let it dry out for a few days, it might come back to life, lol, but it might not as well.

Just let it dry, you can also try to use a hair blow dryer to speed things up. Letting it dry is the only thing you can really do.
