Love changes in a relationship. Usually at the beginning it is romantic and takes your breath away kind of love. It does change to a lower level of feelings (more like a friendship as long as you did have a friendship to start with or somewhere along the line). This is so normal.

Unfortunately people whose relationships were based only on the "sexual part of the relationship" often dont last. Because when these feelings stop then their relationship hasnt developed enough to sustain.

I dont know if you are married or not but marriages (and relationships) are a committment and need work. Every single marriage will go through dry patches and need attention (just as a garden does!). Also the love changes as the relationship progresses.

Love is a feeling
and
committment in a relationship is a decision.

It is the committment that will sustain the relationship/marriage.

Marriage and/or relationship counsellors and courses are very good to improve things.

Best of luck and hope this helped.
xoxo

You know that you're falling out of love when you suddenly realize all the bad things about them. You pick fights about everything just you have the chance to maybe break up. You can honestly tell someone that you're no longer in love.

I know that i'm falling out of love when i no longer want to be around them or get annoyed by everything that he does.

Rent the movie War of the Roses. Do you ever think or feel like either one of them do?
The spark isn't there, they get on your nerves, you make excuses not to have sex with them, you find yourself not wanting to go home, you don't care if they don't call, you find yourself thinking of leaving, wondering if your still in love, wondering if you love this person at all, maybe wonder why in the hell you ever got with this person in the first place. There's a million ways to tell. The fact that you posted this question on here, well, that's one of them. Best of luck to you.
