Yes. As a college registrar I became acquainted with several highly motivated students who did this and who made decent grades. I found, however, that all of them were harried and sometimes seemed to be even angry at the world. I definitely would not advise it, based on what I have observed of the toll it took on their physical and mental health. These students were usually older than traditional students and it took a toll on their relations with their families as well.

I have seen many students work 25 or so hours a week without its having this effect, but full-time (which I define as 40 hours a week) usually harmed them in some way.

In part it depends on what you are studying and what kind of work you are doing. If you have a job where you have to sit and wait a lot and have time to study that's good. At one time I was studying Spanish and working in a cannery where a lot of people spoke Spanish. That worked out well for my Spanish. However the work was physically exhausting and I frequently overslept and missed classes. If you're young and strong and enthusiastic give it a try. If it doesn't work out, cut back on something. Even if you take one class per semester you'll get through a lot sooner than if you don't take any.

A lot of colleges won't let you register as a full-time student if you're working more than 20 hours a week.

Yes, my aunt experienced this and it was extremely hard. Not to try and discourage you. But once she was so tired she fell a sleep while driving home from work had an accident. And totaled out her car luckily she wasn't hurt. In my opinion I recommend going to school Full-time and working Part-time. It's gonna be hard either way. This way you don't over exhaust yourself as much. Just be sure to take vitamins, try to keep yourself healthy, and be sure to get lots of rest.

Yes it can be done.
I work 30 hours a week, and currently am also a full time student taking 5 classes this semester! It is not easy, but if you put your mind into it, anything you desire could be accomplished.
