Hello,

I was wondering for racing I know that a stock 5.3 chevy will hit around 15.5 on the quater mile do you all think that the 2007 chevy single cab do around the same just wondering on weight and the desing of the truck of course the 2006 looks alot more sporty. What will be better to fix for 1/4 mile racing let me know please.

Also what addons can you put on these trucks
K&N
Spacer
Tuning
Mufflers
Supercharger
Cam
Pulleys
What else is there?

Racing? I guess I would choose the 2006, as the 2007 feels like a Toyota and isnt rough edged and doesnt feel as sporty. The 2007 is way better than any other truck for highway cruising, and is still one of the best offroaders. Dodge Ram, Ram Daytona, or Ram SRT10 is the raciest truck you can get, and are higher quality than a 2006 chevy.

One of the best ways to lower 1/4 mile times & get'er off the line quicker is to lower the weight.Silverado's are loaded with options! Empty your doors, Air Cond., ect. Get rid of as much weight as ya can.Move battery to right side of the bed.

i purchased the 07 Sierra crew Cab, because I were given 0% interest on it. compared to my dad's 07 Silverado, i love my grille a lot extra appropriate. as well, it really is been said that on many job web content, the worker drives the Chevy's & the boss drives the GMC!
