Movies from that era. I often laugh when I see new versions of what people dressed like within my own life. It is easy to see how history gets twisted around. Grease was made in the 70s to emulate the 50s and it is better to rely on movies actually from the 50s not some 70s take on it. Time always changes the accuracy.

Look in the internet, watch reruns of an old tv show called Happydays. Rent the movie American Graffiti, rent the Musical West Side Story.
