If the game was played with a timer then the remaining player will be declare the winner if no one else comes to table_ before the time runs out, usually someone will come to the table_ and resign the game

If the game is untimed then the remaining player will be declare the winner if no one comes to table _ to play before the 10 minute time limit

Most chess game I played on other web site have 3 to 40 day to make a move. If you don't move in that time you time out and you automatically loses. He could be delaying moves because he is lossing. If he has a history of timing out you can put him on the ignor list.
Some allow you to take holidays to give you more time if your going away

The remaining player will be declared the winner the the leaving player will count as forfeting the game.

I you abandon, it still counts against you... I have played various games and have come across sore loose rs, they think by abandoning they get away with it. Enjoy the game..

I'm sure if u wait awile, u will be able to force a forfeit and get points on your rating..........thats what happens in dominoes, it should work for u......peace out homie..........
