I'm going crazy trying to pick a perfect crib mattress for my baby because I want the best. What brand of crib mattress do you have or recommend?

I had a sealy for my daughter but it really is not that important.
Try to relax a little and don't sweat the small stuff...

There are a couple of brands worth looking at. Simmons is great. They range in price from $60-120. The Supermaxipedic is $99 and it is nice and firm. The Serta mattresses are actually not Serta. They are made by Evenflo, with the Serta name. You get what you pay for. For low end mattresses, the Kolcraft Pediatric 1000 or the Colgate mattress are reccomended. All mattresses have to meet flamibility standards, so they are all about the same, in terms of safety. Make sure the mattress is nice and firm. Check Consumer Reports. They are great for things like mattresses, but terrible for baby gear, like car seats.

I get any kind. But some studies show that SIDS is caused by crib materesses gases. I bought baby safe matress cover. i would suggest that. It doesn't let gases escape
