is it safe to travel through a cab from airport to city past midnight?

Cabs from the airport all use a coupon system where you buy the coupon at the arrival hall. Prices are FIXED so dont worry about being fleeced. There are two types of cabs - budget and limousine so specify which one you want. Budget cabs to KL from Airport are about RM66+ to 90 depending which suburb or hotel you are going to. Skip the Limo (Otherwise known as Premier Taxi) Safety is no problem and KL itself is quite safe. Midnight surcharge till 6 am is about RM20 more. Thats all. Welcome to Malaysia!

Yep, Azay is correct, I was charged $80 the last time I went there, but it's best to ask the taxi driver how much first. I think he was going to charge me more but luckily aku jako Iban mimet to my kawan so the driver knew I wasn't a tourist as such.

just use the airport taxi taxi cab.
it will charge u around RM 80++

u can take airport express (train) form airport to city sentral station. Then get LRT to your destination.
