Start with the reason why someone would think you have an interesting life - interesting enough to read about in a book.

Start at the most interesting moment in your life. You want to capture the reader's attention and draw them into your story.
You'll need at least 150,000 words to really have a novel on your hands. Write everything that you/others find interesting about your life, including what you thought/felt at the time and perhaps how you feel now in retrospect. Just remember, if you're getting bored writing a particular "scene," your audience will be bored reading it ... scrap it.
The best piece of advice I can give you is to write everyday - period - no exceptions. Sunday? You write. Your birthday? You write. Thanksgiving? You write. Pick a reasonable amount of words per day, and write that many words every single day. 1,000 - 2,000 words a day is ideal, but less is good too, as long as you do it everyday.
Also, when you first sit down to write for the day, edit your previous day's work. It'll not only keep you up to date on your editing, but it will also ease you back into the story, so you can pick up right where you left off.
Another very important tool is ... Join a writer's group. Look on the internet for a group that meets in your area or on-line. It helps to have people who not only keep you accountable, but who will also critique your work and give you honest feedback - often our loved ones have bias! Good luck!

I choose a solid e book, in basic terms like i might choose a solid action picture. My extensive type one rule is, if it makes me cry, it extremely is handed my attempt. i admire books that make me experience as though the characters and their circumstances are real. i desire to forget that i'm even interpreting. a solid e book is one that keeps you up into the early hours of the morning. you finally end up crying, shaking in worry or exhilaration. those are the books that are "skin breaking" for my section. So some human beings might love Twilight, different's hate it. as long because it made somebody, someplace get those chills and goosebumps, it extremely is seen a solid e book in my head. nicely-written would not neccessarily propose it has to have extensive vocab and such quite a few information you do no longer even comprehend what's occurring, to me it in basic terms potential that the author is familiar with what she or he's doing with their tale. Oh nicely, i'm rambling, so i'm going to stop. yet surely, a solid e book has to snatch you by the hair and throw you right into a international you by no potential knew existed and bypass away you awe-struck and at a loss for phrases whilst it extremely is over.

It sounds like you want to write a basic memoir - use this book "Writing Life Stories" by Bill Roorbach - I'm taking a memoir course and it's a fabulous book. It will answer all of your questions.
You may also want to take a few English courses - if you don't already have a background in creative writing -

Frankly, your life probably isn't that interesting, and I really mean no offense by that. In a way, it'd be like a soap opera, why would you want to watch it when you can live your own life. Sure, a lot of people watch soap operas, but can you really allow yourself to provide drivel like that to a field that's already flooded with it?
What I would personally suggest is applying your life to a character which would allow you to take creative licence. Maybe your character needs to die, get a tumor, win the lottery, have a smoking hot wife, etc. The possibilities are endless.
Either way, the choice is yours, but that's what I would recommend.
Good luck and may your words flow to the page like the water from Victoria Falls.

It's really hard to write an autobiography that people want to read, even if you're already famous, so, you should probably make an outline and see if other people would even care about things in your past before writing a whole book.

I'm doing a similar book on my life as one living with cerebral palsy.
So I have to start from the beginning of my life and work my way up.

i keep trying to write a book man and i just can't get started but i can tell you for sure that the best thing is to not start from the age of 1 unless u are planning to make the book funny, somehow satiric like Jerome K. Jerome.
anyhow,my guess is to start from now and just look back every now and then.
that's called retrospection

Start with a timeline of your life (it doesnt have to be in order) then build around each event and then put it together like a puzzle and youll be able to fill in the blanks.... I think that would be the easiest and most organzied way.
