I loved harry potter and the order of the phenix. that was my favorate. The first two books I thought were all right. they started getting really good when the third one came out. As far as the movies, I think one and two were the best, because they were better than the books. So I thought any way. I can't wait until the 7th book comes out. Doesn't it come out June or July of this year? I hope so. So what are your favorate??

I actually felt that order of the phoenix suffered from lack of editing. It seemed like she had become such a star nobody dared point out that nothing happened for hundreds of pages. I enjoyed it, but less then the others. Although I always enjoy the house elves. I did like the growth in Neville's character in order of the phoenix though.
For the movies, I definitely thought the third was the best. The first was great as a faithful reproduction of the book.
Later movies have had to cut stuff out for time, while at the same time pump up sections that work 'visually'. I thought the third did this extremely well, while the second was weakest here. Examples ... the long scene with the flying car in chamber of secrets was just dull. I mean, was anyone worried harry was about to die 10 minutes in? Not so much?
The third on the other hand did some things really _well_. The scenes with the Dursleys are always great, but the one in PofAz was just the best, with Harry's aunt bouncing along the ceiling and out the door. The Knight Bus was well done (Hey Earl ... ha ha ha).
Goblet of fire - The scenes at the Yule ball were done really well, my wife and I were howling at how typical a school dance it was, with girls weeping at the end because boys hadn't asked them to dance while some slow song swells in the background and a few happy couples dance away.

For the books the 1st, 2nd and 3rd were all easy fast reads and they were all really good. The 4th was a little tough for me to get through. I'd have to say that the 5th and 6th have been my favorite ones to read. They were both page turners I couldn't put them down.
I have loved every single movie!!! I'm excited for Harry Potter and The Order of The Pheonix to come out on July 13th,2007!!!
The final book will be released on July 21st, 2007.

my favorite is also the fifth book. i am so excited for the 7th. i can't wait! i love the movies too. i really don't know which is my favorite of them though. prob the 5th when it comes out this summer. ya well glad to meat another hp fan! :)

the fifth(order of the phoenix), was mine. It was flippin amazing! I thought the 6th was sad and all dumbledore dyin what the heck. But i think hes not really dead
