I think A big budget big screen Nick Fury movie could be awesome. The David hasselhoff TV movie version was horrible but if you get someone else to star in it and get Garth Ennis to write the script it would rule.

Since that is already being made I'll put my vote in for Usagi Yojimbo but it must be animated (traditional non of this CGI crap) and live action would really blow.

you know with 'superman returns' and 'spiderman' out there, this is quite a tough question.
now that 'ghost rider' is also promising and not to mention that 'fantastic four' really knocked it, I'd say that looking for the potential best has to be original and really cutting edge.
here are some of the series that I'd like to see in film:
the SAVAGE DRAGON, this is one cool dude with a good sidekick, action sequences would really rock hard
BACKLASH - i can't imagine how they would do this actually
the TRENCHER, the uniqe artwork strikes me odd on how it is possible to present in film
WITCH BLADE , I'd like to see her, she's one unique female metamorph
do you remember the WARLORD? although the series wasn't that popular, i think the sci-fantasy would really click it, its like achilles meets luke skywalker
and of course one of my most favorite villain
LOBO, he's is my favorite anti-superman, a film about this bad *** dude i think will re-set the trend in comic book films

I wanted War-Machine(my fav superhero) to be in a movie but he already is gonna be featured in one. The movie he's gonna be in is Ironman The Movie(coming in 2008 = ] ).
