I think gay marriage is fine.
I just believe that health insurance premiums will increase dramatically if it happens. The health insurance industry will state that the risk factors involved would create a decrease in profits so inflation to insurance premiums will be needed.

I believe that Marriage should only be between a man an a woman and done only in churches and NOT recognized by state or government. Couples who choose to MARRY should NOT have the rights traditionally given to those that are married. Rather i believe that civil unions SHOULD be given to 2 adults REGARDLESS of gender. then the state and government should ONLY recognize and give benifit to those who are in a CIVIL UNION ONLY.. but since that wont happen for 150 years or so, yes i support gay marriage. Im a lesbian why does that bother so many people? And why even concider it an alternative life style. Cuz its not an alternative!

Believe me, i do not have any thing against gay people, they have the right to be happy as others. I drink with them, dance and share a place with them........and I'm not religious but i never liked the idea of the marriage. I don't mind they live together, adopt baby and....just some thing about marriage, cripes me out. I mean, this has been every nations culture in whole world for thousands of years, we just can't change that. What will the next step be? you know? probably in 20 years, brothers and sisters or what the h** mothers or fathers, they can all marry each other! who can argue this or guaranty this won't happen? there's always a time that, one should draw the line.

The whole "gay marriage" thing is not about rights. It's about special privilege. Gays have complained because their "unions" do not contain the same benefits as those of traditonally married couples. And why should they? Gays have chosen an alternative life style and they should take the bad with the good. Should a person who remains single receive special benefit? Or two sisters or two brothers who live together? Alternative lifestyle means exactly that. We can't allow our society to be bullied by people who are exacting an agenda to further their own status.

I'm not gay and I'm neutral! What I want to suggest that we may allow gay marriage for 2-3 years to test - if civil morale of USA goes too low, which will generate many problems including civil crimes, and may, potentially, harm the unity of USA - we ban it - but if everything is just fine, we will go on! For the people wants to participate in this test, their union identity will end if the law is banned, so they must sign to agree with this condition!

Personally I support gay marriage. I am not gay, but neither I, nor the federal government has a right to decide who has a right to fall in love. You do not have to believe in gay marriage as long as you don't force your personal views on anyone else. Gays getting married forces nothing on you personally.

I'm for people being happy. And if two people think that being married would make them happy- I'd say they should have that right. To me, marriage is about LOVE- not gender. And anyone who casts a shadow upon someone elses happiness- is of questionable morality & good faith.

I AM gay and I support it. I say why not let gays establish safe, loving families. There are so many "straight" marriages and families out there that produce unsafe and poor environments for children.

I support it because it then gives their partner the right to make for example decisions regarding turning off machines in case of accidents and burials etc rather than falling to next of kin. They are the person who knows them most dearly and intimately, give them the rights. I am straight.

I don't care what two consenting adults do.But,what irritates me is when they shove it in our face.I'm tired of seeing two people of the same gender kissing on the evening news during their "civil union" ceremony. It isn't something I think we all have to see, especially our children.
