3 Drs., 3 neg. urine pregnancy tests, ultrasound with no abnormalities but small amount of fatty liver. Last period, end of Sept. and occassionally a very small amount of spotting. I feel baby or babies moving. I first felt flutters, then like something rolling, and now rolling and kicks. I have gained 35 lbs. and very swollen and rounded from my breast down and around. There is soreness and now lower abdominal cramps. Breast tenderness, frequent urination, daily indigestion, occassional nausea, headaches, leg cramps, backaches and tiredness. I feel movement in four different areas. Th Dr. ordered a ct scan, but I could not go through with it, because of possible danger to my baby or babies. I bought over the counter prenatal vitamins. I can't get any answers, but I believe I am pergnant. Everyone else says I am pregnant but the doctors. Can anyone please give input?

That doesn't sound like pregnancy. An ultrasound would have picked that up, even very, very early.

It does sound like 'false pregnancy,' though:

"The symptoms of pseudocyesis are similar to the symptoms of true pregnancy and are often hard to distinguish from such natural signs as amenorrhoea, morning sickness, tender breasts, and weight gain may all be present. Many health care professionals can be deceived by the symptoms associated with pseudocyesis. Research shows that 18% of women with pseudocyesis were at one time diagnosed as pregnant by medical professionals.

The hallmark sign of pseudocyesis that is common to all cases is that the affected patient is convinced that she is pregnant. Abdominal distension is the most common physical symptom of pseudocyesis (60– 90%). The abdomen expands in the same manner as it does during pregnancy, so that the affected woman looks pregnant. This phenomenon is thought to be caused by buildup of gas, fat, feces, or urine. These symptoms often resolve under general anesthesia and the woman's abdomen returns to its normal size.

The second most common physical sign of pseudocyesis is menstrual irregularity (50–90%). Women are also reported to experience the sensation of fetal movements known as quickening (medical), even though there is no fetus present (50%-75%).Other common signs and symptoms include: gastrointestinal symptoms, breast changes or secretions, labor pains, uterine enlargement, and softening of the cervix. One percent of women eventually experience false labour."

Um...honestly, while your symptoms sound very promising, I would trust what the dr says. If you honestly believe you're pg, your brain can cause your body to have all the symptoms, even when there is actually no baby. This could be a mental health issue.

Wishing you all the best!!!

If you have had an ultrasound which found nothing and you have negative pregnancy tests...it still may be possible you could be pregnant, but it does sound alot like gas...or possible tumors. I hope all goes well with you.

Stop eating so many burritos, you appear to have gotten fat and gassy.

If a doctor says you are not pregnant, you are not pregnant. You can't do an ultrasound and find nothing and be pregnant with four kids....

On the other hand, you might have been impregnated by the invisible man.....

Well get a blood test, if it comes out negative, then you are NOT pregnant. It hurts, trust me, I know, but obviously something is not right. If you are NOT pregnant then get the c-scan. Something is then wrong.
